At Micah Projects we engage with people experiencing adversity due to poverty, homelessness, poor mental health or illness, domestic violence, disability, and discrimination due to culture, position, age, gender or sexual orientation. We respond and support people to move beyond poverty, homelessness, trauma, and isolation to realise their aspirations and dignity.

We work to break down barriers that exclude people from housing, healthcare, employment, meaningful connections, and to give people a voice. We assist and support each individual or family including children, to resolve crisis, break social isolation, have a home, access health and community services, and build community.

We are committed to advocacy with people to address the impacts of government policy or inaction on their lives through using the democratic processes that are available to us to educate our political representatives at all levels of government and leaders in our community and institutions.

We are committed to providing services and opportunities in the community to create justice and respond to injustice.

The Tenancy Skills Institute is Australia's leader in homelessness prevention and early intervention using an education and cross-sector partnership framework. Since its establishment in 2017, over 26,000 Australians have engaged in their courses endorsed by the real estate industry, upskilling renters with up-to-date tenancy skills to access and sustain tenancies in the private rental market.

Through relationship-building with the real estate industry, the institute leads ground-breaking cross sector initiatives for tenancy sustainment. From PM Assist (world-first online referral portal), on demand business development services, and its annual survey of Australasian property managers, the not-for-profit is focused on creating better rental outcomes together.
