Jonathon has extensive experience in policy development, research, education and practical service design improvements. He has worked across government, community sectors and academia in Australia and the UK. Within the South Australian Homelessness sector, he has helped lead service innovation across three Homelessness and DFV Alliances.

As a researcher, Jonathon focuses on intersections between political economy and the lived experience of the everyday, inclusive of homelessness. He has expertise in program design and evaluation, and he has a deep appreciation of complex systems, collective impact and whole-of-system approaches.

He has also worked alongside Aboriginal communities in remote communities and undertaken fieldwork in Southeast Asia, contributing to his collaborative approach to program design and evaluation. Jonathon is an Associate Professor (adjunct) at the Centre for Social Impact, Flinders University.
