Duncan Bainbridge

Duncan N. Bainbridge is a communications strategist and Lived Experience (LEx) leader with over 25 years of experience in government, non-profit, and community sectors across Australia and the UK.
With a background in architecture, urban design, and social impact advocacy. He is also a Veteran and specialises in narrative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and shaping public understanding of homelessness, housing, and community wellbeing.

Duncan works across Australia providing LEx Leadership, to the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness, and contributes to various advisory groups focused on system reform, service design, and community-led policy.

His work focuses on amplifying human stories, reducing stigma, and strengthening the relationship between government, services, and the communities they serve. He is known for applying strategic clarity, creativity, and LEx Leadership to projects that promote Social Impact and Housing Justice.
Duncan is committed to building systems that are compassionate, accountable, and designed with, not just for, people.
