Jocelyn is a part-time Community Development Specialist with the Salvation Army (TSA), also working part-time within a Brisbane Neighbourhood Centre.
Holding a BA (Psychology), BSc (Development Studies) and a Diploma in Sustainability, Jocelyn’s practice is foregrounded in a Community Development method. Her experience sits across a diverse range of contexts including community-led projects across homelessness, food security & children and youth, front-line service delivery, homelessness services program management, community-managed farms and auspicing support.
Her role with TSA focuses on facilitating connections, groups and conversations that build the capacity of our communities to respond to homelessness and housing insecurity.
Jocelyn is passionate about groups having ownership of their ideas, processes and outcomes and in sharing ways everyone, regardless of their context, can consider working more developmentally.
