Kate is a Senior Social Worker with over 18 years’ experience across homelessness, family support, child protection and the NDIS, including more than 15 years in leadership roles. She is currently the Program Manager of the NQ Transform Lives Program, an intensive clinical case management program supporting women as they transition from custody and rebuild their lives, families and community connections. Kate has led program design and system reform initiatives, including statewide referral systems and integrated service pathways. She previously chaired the One Voice housing action group in the Whitsundays, contributing to a community-led intensive case management response that supported over 70 people into housing. She currently chairs the NQ Women’s Justice Network, bringing together housing, government and community services to build capacity and strengthen collaboration. Kate is passionate about Housing First and systemic, interagency models, and is driven by one key question: what is the best use of us?
