Marty Wright

AOD Outreach Worker

QuIHN

Marty works for the Queensland Injector’s Health Network (QuIHN) as an Alcohol and Other Drug support worker. Much of his work is performed in an “outreach” capacity, in partnership with Micah Projects, at the Brisbane Common Ground.

Marty’s passion for social justice and harm reduction stems from his own lived/living experience of substance use, homelessness and mental health concerns both locally and overseas. Marty is passionate about destigmatizing substance use and mental health concerns and is a staunch advocate in these spaces.
